Help us support the Magnetic Island Turtle Hospital
We are passionate about recycling and have created two drop off locations
in our Breakwater Marina, Townsville community for cans and bottles to raise money for the Turtle Hospital.
Our guests are thrilled too, because you can also HELP!
The Magnetic Island Turtle Hospital was established
in 2011.A group of dedicated volunteers operating a
rehabilitation centre for sick and stranded turtles with
guidance from the JCU Vet School, Reef HQ and QLD
Parks and Wildlife. The Centre also monitors turtle nests
in the season to increase nesting success and of course
they do so much more.
