(Private Charter only)

Captain Cook first sailed through the Whitsundays on the 4th of June 1770. Cook named the area after the day he sailed though, Whitsunday, the second Sunday of Easter.

We have sailed extensively in this area, which consists of 74 Islands,

70% being National Park and only 8 islands are inhabited with resorts.

The Whitsunday Islands are the largest group of offshore islands in Australia.

The popular and well known Heart Reef is off the Whitsunday coast as well as Whitehaven Beach which is classed as one of the top beaches in the world, made up of fine sand particles called silica sand.

The Whitsundays are an amazing area to explore by sailing vessel and we are happy to relocate Big Mama to the Whitsundays for either a PRIVATE Overnight Sail or any or our FULL Day Sails.
