The Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992, makes it illegal to discriminate, both directly or indirectly
against a person because of a disability when providing goods, services or facilities or access to public premises.
This includes providing equal opportunity for people of all abilities to access tourism services and activities.
Big Mama Sailing are respectful & thoughtful of everyone!
Our crew are trained, aware and deliver appropriate customer service to people of all abilities.
Both our sailing vessels do not have wheel chair access but we welcome guests on walking frames or sticks, that
can walk confidently with crew assistance, boarding our vessels from Breakwater Marina pontoon only. We board and disembark from the beach on Magnetic Island, so for safety reasons this is not an option. We also welcome and have had assistance dogs on board, introducing the
dog to Coco, prior the sail.
Ragamuffin 111 is not suitable for children under 4 years old and guests with limitations in fitness and mobility.
